ERDL Jungle Jacket, 2nd Pattern

The classic. A comfortable, lightweight four-pocket jacket. The pockets and pocket flaps are both slanted at a bias to make reaching in with the opposite hand easier. The 2nd pattern is special because its has all of the functional advantages of the later patterns(no epaulettes, no exposed buttons, no waist takeups), but was still made in the original non-ripstop cotton poplin fabric, which is considerably more comfortable, and heavier. And considerably rarer. Especially the camo version, as it the non-ripstop camo Jungle Jacket was only made in two runs, and issued in small runs to special units, exclusively. A great find for any true jungle jacket enthusiast.
